This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) applies to Employers using Jobpaq (the “Platform”) to receive and review Candidate applications, resumes, and messages. Belixar LLC (doing business as “Jobpaq”) is the operator of the Platform and, for the personal data it collects directly to run the Platform, acts as the data controller as described in our Privacy Policy. Where an Employer receives Candidate personal data through the Platform (for example, a resume submitted with an application), the Employer acts as an independent controller of that data for its own hiring purposes, and Jobpaq processes that data on the Employer's behalf solely to deliver the Platform's application and messaging functionality.
This DPA covers the following categories of Candidate personal data made available to Employers through the Platform:
Jobpaq processes this data only to display it to the Employer within the Platform, facilitate messaging, and track application status — never for its own independent purposes beyond operating the Platform.
Jobpaq uses the following sub-processors in connection with the data covered by this DPA:
Jobpaq authenticates Platform access via one-time email codes and WebAuthn passkeys, scopes data access to authenticated accounts, and relies on its hosting provider's infrastructure security controls. Jobpaq does not store payment card data; payments are processed entirely by Stripe.
If Jobpaq receives a request from a Candidate to exercise a data protection right (access, deletion, correction) concerning data an Employer has received through the Platform, Jobpaq will handle requests concerning data it controls directly per its Privacy Policy, and will notify the affected Employer where the request concerns data for which the Employer is the controller.
Jobpaq and its sub-processors listed above operate in the United States. Data covered by this DPA may be processed on servers located in the United States, subject to the transfer safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
This DPA remains in effect for as long as the Employer maintains an active account on the Platform and terminates automatically upon account closure, subject to the data retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
