Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming, assisting, and supporting employees, visitors, and contractors while promoting a safe and secure environment.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols, inspections, and risk assessments across the site.
• Supporting compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Responding to emergencies, coordinating evacuations, conducting searches, and supporting incident management procedures.
• Identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and taking proactive steps to prevent risks, disruptions, and security breaches.
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, safety documentation, and shift handovers to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• A strong understanding of safety and security principles, with the confidence to take ownership and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
• A keen eye for detail, enabling you to identify potential risks, investigate incidents, and support preventive actions.
• Experience maintaining accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively with wider operational and support teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.
• The right to work in the UK and the ability to successfully complete all required vetting and screening processes.
