What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical-related situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
