Entry Level Command and Data Handling Network Engineer (Autonomous Navigation Systems)

The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems Division is seeking an Entry Level Spacecraft Command and Data Handling Network (C&DHN) Engineer for (Autonomous Navigation Systems) that will develop and help support avionics and C&DHN systems for Boeing satellite programs.

Typical assignments will include requirements definition and flowdown, systems design and analysis, systems integration, test, and verification. The engineer will be responsible for resolution of technical issues and ensuring hardware and software are flight worthy prior to delivery. They will work with senior management and technical experts across multiple disciplines including subsystem engineering, software architecture, software validation, Communications Security (COMSEC), Cybersecurity, electronic hardware testing, spacecraft level testing, system level fault detection & response, and end to end system engineering. This position is in El Segundo, CA.

Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
