As a Security Officer Dispatch Position in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a hotel or resort location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and incoming calls, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. You will support a welcoming environment for guests and staff through clear communication, responsive service, and attention to detail. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
- Monitor communications systems, receive calls and requests for assistance, and dispatch appropriate personnel to guest-service needs, maintenance concerns, medical situations, and other security-related incidents.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, key-control documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to supervisors, emergency responders, and/or appropriate site personnel as needed.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive conduct.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
