THE WORK:
$100,000 - $115,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in transportation scheduling, energy logistics, terminal operations, supply coordination, inventory planning, or a related operational function • Experience supporting bulk liquids, refining, fuels, chemicals, pipelines, rail transportation, or comparable industrial supply chain operations • Familiarity with scheduling deadlines, transportation nominations, inventory monitoring, and operational issue resolution and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive activities in a changing operational environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate transactional and operational records • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work on-site in Houston and support standard U.S. Central Time business hours
BONUS POINTS TO HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, business, economics, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree • Direct scheduling experience involving fuels, crude oil, NGLs, refined products, ethanol, or petrochemicals • Experience working with pipeline nomination systems, terminal systems, or other transportation scheduling platform • Familiarity with SAP Trader’s and Scheduler’s Workbench (TSW) • Experience supporting traders, commercial teams, supply optimizers, or refinery planning organization • Previous experience with the end client or another large integrated energy company • Understanding of regulated pipeline scheduling windows and transportation contract requirements.
