Under the oversight of the administrative Laboratory Services Program Director in conjunction with the MD Laboratory Director, the Patient Service Center (PSC) Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of the Patient Service team at multiple locations and develop appropriate Key Performance Indicators. The PSC Manager is accountable for coordinating the efficient and timely specimen collection, specimen processing, testing, and resulting of waived tests, and reference and special mail-outs in a cost-effective manner.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
• Current PBT (ASCP) phlebotomy certification (Additional 4 years of phlebotomy experience and additional 2 years of relevant supervisory experience may substitute for certification)
• 6+ years phlebotomy experience
• 2+ years managing/supervising phlebotomy operations
• 2+ years waived testing performance
• Knowledge of budgeting, billing, and cost analysis
• Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance principles and proficiency testing procedures relating to waived testing
• Knowledge of AAAHC, CAP, OSHA, and CLIA regulations related to work area
• Practical knowledge of routine laboratory equipment and procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Preparation and analysis of quarterly and monthly reports
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver organized and concise presentations tailored to audience
• Proven excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to efficiently manage lab operations at multiple sites
• Proven ability to implement change in a positive, sensitive, and forward- thinking manner
• Proven ability to collaborate and promote teamwork
• Demonstrated positive, can-do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency
• Demonstrated superb attention to details
• Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate staff
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a complex, multi-functional group

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 2+ years management experience of multiple labs simultaneously

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
