As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Job Schedule
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in and around a morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
