As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver - Retail in Troutdale, OR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

How This Role Works
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report incidents, property concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with emergency responders when appropriate.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
