Our work depends on an Enterprise Monitoring (EM) Engineer to support Government operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.
At GDIT, we foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Infrastructure Engineering Services. In this role, you will help ensure real-time visibility into system performance through enterprise monitoring, alerting, data collection, and bring innovative ideas.
A typical day in this role may include:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and 10+ years’ experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
Familiarity with existing EM technologies (e.g., SolarWinds or Splunk) and ability to learn more complex platforms (e.g., Cisco AppDynamics)
Experience with API integrations and processes
Ability to support the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, including system certification and accreditation
Strong foundational understanding of Windows Server Administration (e.g., managing, configuring, and troubleshooting)
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
