As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver - Corporate Site in Beaverton, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Help maintain an orderly work environment by observing and reporting hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
