Through our five business lines - Payments, Liquidity Management Services, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services and Issuer Services - we provide cash management, payments/receivables solutions, working capital solutions, post-trade securities services and issuer services across Citi’s global network.
Our Australia and New Zealand leadership oversees delivery of the breadth of our business and client relationships across the globe. The Australia and New Zealand Head of Corporate, Commercial and Public Sector Sales (CCPS) is a key leadership position responsible for leading and directing the local CCPS sales team, focusing on driving revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, partnering and driving alignment with Banking and ensuring strategic alignment across all CCPS sales activities in Australia and New Zealand.
The role directly reports to the JANA CCPS Cluster Head and is a member of the Japan, Asia North CCPS Leadership Team. In addition, the role matrixes to the Head of Services for Australia and New Zealand as well as being a member of the Australia and New Zealand Services Management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership. Design and execute sales strategies for CCPS Sales origination and solutioning across CCPS clients. Drive thought leadership to shape client requirements and promote innovative ideas.
- Client Focus. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders across the organisation. Relay and influence meeting the needs of the Client with local, cluster and global product and sales peers.
- Product and Solution Focus. Drive initiatives for treasury management, working capital, commercial card and supply chain solutions, collaborating with CCPS Solution Sales, Product Sales Specialists and Client Executives.
- Partnership Focus. Ensure seamless coordination with our coverage partners in the Corporate Bank, our Global Network Bank (GNB) and Citi Commercial Bank (CCB). Also provide seamless communication internally with all global sales partners.
- Financial Performance. Accountable for driving client revenues, sales origination, wins, cross-sell, revenue realisation and retention for Australia and New Zealand. Lead CCPS sales solutioning for profitable, sustainable revenue growth. Manage sales financial metrics and business scorecards.
- Market and Client Engagement. Serve as the senior conduit for client/industry trends, market challenges and product development needs within the Australia and New Zealand Services organisation. Drive client satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring coordination with coverage partners (Corporate Bank, GNB, CCB).
- Marketing and Communication Oversight. Partner with the Services Marketing team to align on all marketing and communication activities for JANA, including key message development, amplifying global themes, product positioning, sales campaigns and event marketing.
- Operational Management. Drive continuous process improvement for sales management, presentations and product knowledge training. Ensure adherence to Citi compliance and ethical standards.
- Innovation. Champion a culture of innovation, driving digitisation and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
- Risk & Control. Manage risk and control standards and foster a culture of compliance across the organisation.
- Talent Development. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of direct senior sales/product leadership or relationship management experience, leading multi-country sales/relationship teams.
- Strong demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence and manage in a matrix environment. Experienced strategic sales leader capable of designing innovative sales growth plans and tactical responses.
- Deep product knowledge across Payments, Liquidity Management Services, Trade & Working Capital Solutions;
- Experience delivering results and exceeding financial objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and client interactions.
