As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Harrisburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.13 / Hour
- Security Experience (C112)
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience is required. This includes experience in monitoring, patrolling, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
- Candidates must have experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
- Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, entering data, and utilizing technology to perform job functions effectively.
- Customer Service Experience (B219)
- A background in customer service is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining authorized entry procedures, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
