As a Front End Engineer Senior/ 508 Compliance Specialist, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a mission-critical customer. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with a cross-functional Agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners to build and validate accessible, compliant, and high-quality user interfaces.
The candidate should bring a strong concentration in Section 508 accessibility compliance to ensure the system's interfaces are fully usable by individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate combines solid front-end engineering skills with deep, hands-on expertise in accessibility testing and remediation, including proficiency with screen reader technology. The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
