The Role and Impact
As a Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will design, develop, and
maintain
industrial instrumentation and automation systems essential for supporting facilities operations, manufacturing,
labs
and other stakeholders. Your role will involve troubleshooting and
optimizing
existing systems while also creating new control solutions to improve performance and reliability. Your scope also focuses on Building Monitoring System
(BMS), PLCs, Control Valves and Monitoring sensors. By playing a key role in ensuring seamless functionality of critical systems, you will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and
maintaining
Intel's
high standards
of performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

industrial instrumentation systems for facilities operations.

Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement solutions to address and rectify issues.
Prepare engineering assessments and provide technical direction for construction designs.
Manage projects within defined cost and time constraints, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including design engineers, operations staff, and external contractors.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical
, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field with

-5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls
Familiarity with instrumentation measuring devices such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow sensors.
Experience with industrial automation platforms, such as GE
Cimplicity
, Rockwell Automation Logix PLC products, and SCADA systems, is highly valued
and will be added advantage
.
PLC Logic
diagrams, and interface systems for PLC/SCADA.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in both individual and team settings.
Effective communication skills, including written reports and verbal presentations.
Knowledge or exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and
Facilities Overall
Process systems for troubleshooting and integrating control changes
