The Windows Client Core Team develops and maintains foundational components of the Windows operating system. We own critical platform technologies that enable processor integration, power management, storage, networking, boot, and system infrastructure. As a Senior and Principal Product Manager, you will help shape the future of Windows by driving innovations that improve performance, scalability, reliability, and support for emerging hardware technologies. You will work closely with engineers, OEMs, silicon partners, and cross-functional teams across Microsoft to define product strategy, drive platform investments, and influence the future direction of Windows.Our team collaborates directly with hardware vendors and industry partners to enable the latest processors and chipsets on Windows. We help bring new hardware capabilities to life while ensuring Windows continues to evolve across a diverse and rapidly changing ecosystem.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. <p></p> <p>Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
